Deep ruby in color and ripe and rich in taste. The ripe cherry flavors and undertones of chocolate and earth make it a great accompaniment for hearty meat dishes in the cold weather seasons. I paired it with a grilled steak and salad but was wishing I had more time to prepare short ribs to go along with this wine. -- Jill Sloane
